As Craniosacral Therapy is such a gentle, non-manipulative therapy it is suitable for anyone from newborn babies to the elderly; it works directly with the body’s natural ability for self-repair to treat a wide range of conditions and symptoms.
You do not have to put up with a painful latch or a baby crying with pain from a feed. CST treatments can take a baby that cries incessantly one day, to calm and smiling the next by just using this gentle touch that relaxes the body and stimulates the nervous system.
On arrival I will take a written case history, we will discuss your expectations from treatment. This part of the session is important as it will help with monitoring outcome. For your infant, an intake questionnaire will be emailed to you to return to me before your appointment. You will be fully clothed for your session.
CST is intended to work alongside the healthcare service your doctor provides. If you have a particular concern about your health we would always recommend that you consult your GP. CST practitioners do not diagnose or prescribe medication.
The Craniosacral Therapy Association, of which I am a full member, accredits practitioners who are in continuing professional development and adhere to the Association's Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
I qualified from the British School of Osteopathy in 2005. Increasingly specialising in Cranial Osteopathy I qualified as a Craniosacral Therapist at the College of Craniosacral Therapy in London in 2008. Now practicing solely as a Craniosacral Therapist I specialise in infants, but equally love treating adults. I love to take courses and keep learning. I am currently taking the Beams Infant Craniosacral Training course.
