As Craniosacral Therapy is such a gentle, non-manipulative therapy it is suitable for anyone from newborn babies to the elderly; it works directly with the body’s natural ability for self-repair to treat a wide range of conditions and symptoms.
CST can help with, but not limited to, Breastfeeding troubles, Sleeping difficulties, Reflux, Plagiocephaly/Flat head, Hyperextended, Overall tight muscle tone, Torticollis, Not liking tummy time. Please see the PDFs below for further information.
At the first session I will take a written case history. We will discuss your history, symptoms and expectations from treatment. This part of the session is important as it will help with monitoring outcome. You will be fully clothed for your session. For your infant, an intake questionnaire will be emailed to you to return to me before your appointment.
CST is intended to work alongside the healthcare service your doctor provides. If you have a particular concern about your health we would always recommend that you consult your GP. CST practitioners do not diagnose or prescribe medication.
The Craniosacral Therapy Association, of which I am a full member, accredits practitioners who are in continuing professional development and adhere to the Association's Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
I became interested in Osteopathy after suffering from severe back pain in my early twenties. I saw an Osteopath who put it down to fracturing the coccyx at 15, the resulting Coccygectomy, and how my body had compensated for this ever since. I was hooked.
Now practicing solely as a Craniosacral Therapist I specialise in infants, but equally love treating adults. Treatment is at my home in Winchmore Hill, North London where I live with my husband and two boys.
